This is my multimedia project. I decided to have some fun with the whole Tebowing meme. Tim Tebow is known for openly speaking about his religious preferences so I decided to make him look like a holy figure. I used Photoshop for this project; I don't think that it looks horrible considering that it was my first time using Photoshop. I think that the effects make it look somewhat corny but it adds to the silliness of the image, which is what I shooting for in this final project.
Tim Tebow keeps winning too which is a plus. As long as he is still one of the headlining topics on ESPN the Tebowing meme may still be relevant to pop culture. However, the one thing that I have learned in this class is that meme's lives do not last too long.

I came across a couple of images about Pokemon and the message that the images were trying to send were really funny in my opinion. When Pokemon first started off there was 151 original Pokemon. As a little kid I knew all the Pokemon's names and what not. When I got older and grew out of the Pokemon fad the number of Pokemon kept growing to what is now 649. I think that is a little ridiculous for my taste. This image is saying the same thing, that there are too many Pokemon. There are quite a few variations to this meme and the thing that I found most interesting is the use of other cartoons that promote the same idea. Other variations of this meme had images of Spongebob and the Ninja Turtles complaining about the growing number of Pokemon. I just think that use of different cartoons to call out Pokemon is funny.

Chocolate Pudding
I was on YouTube looking up random videos and one of my roommates was talking about the "Rugrats Theory" which is very creepy. As we were talking about the theory I started searching Rugrat videos and I came across this. This video shows Stu, Tommy Pickles' dad making chocolate pudding for his niece Angelica. However, Stu comes to find that Angelica is not even hungry. The quote "I've lost control of my life" has made the video very popular and there have been many different variations of this video. This is an example of how old cartoons can make a comeback on the internet and different memes of the video can sprout up. After I saw the various "I've lost control of my life" videos, I started watching old Rugrats episodes on Netflix. It can be said that a meme like this can bring back some life for old television programs.

Beyonce's Baby Bump
http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1669858/beyonce-vma-performance.jhtml
I chose this article about Beyonce's pregnancy because I have been listening heavily to Jay Z's new album Watch the Throne and he made a reference in one of his verses about a baby. After watching the VMAs, it is confirmed that Hova is going to be a father.
